whatever rocks your boat :) i don't take strong doses but as
i told you before, i kind of see this shit as a chemical
lobotomy, also like the fact that i'm reducing it very
slowly and gradually, -1mg per year, that's the only way to
face withdrawal symptoms

yes i have zero creativity when i take it because my
emotions are locked in, i suppose it is a bit of a chemical
lobotomy, perhaps in the future they will look at SSRIs as
bad mojo, dark ages technology, because i dont think the
medical profession now what a sensitive organ the brain is,
well they probably do but dont care cos its the only help
they can offer at the mo

yes, and thanks god we live in an era where mental health
treatment seems to be so advanced, even if yeah, you always
have the impression that they could do better. if not with
drugs, in the psychotherapy that comes with them. there is
still a lot of prejudice in society, many stereotypes, but
that's normal becos if you haven't had any mental health
problem, rarely you get the fact that these problems come
from an experience of suffering.

yes, i get the feeling most come from bad life experience,
and there is the genetic component as well. What im very
dubious about is the psychology aspect of it, it seems like
its a imperfect facsimile of science but not the genuine
article. you can quantify the human brain in an empirical
manner, thats when i get into arguments with people about
how you should treat such and such cos i think every being
is unique case,

with you on this one, there is people who haven't studied a
shit that are better psychologists than the ones actually
practicing it..

Do you exercise, Hyperflake? It's certainly not a panacea
for mental health, but it can help.

I'm due for a dose of LSD

way less politics for a start. that shit puts you in touch
with reality pretty fast but havnt had the time. drinking a
lot and nervous it aint no way to live. hoping it gets
warmer soon

yes i do exercise a fair bit, i go walking alot, and i used
to lift weights and do push ups but i havent done that for a
while, but yes i totally agree that physical health
improvements can help mental health quite a bit for some
people,

I used to read alot of polemics, and geo political stuff, i
was really into it, but it sort of did make me very paranoid
and didnt help my mental situation, but that was just how it
effected me personally

the polemics are bad and it has mostly been bollocks after
all. ditch the trumps and corbyns.

my admittedly selfish point of view now, is that i have a
negligible impact on what happens on a largerl scale, i also
have a finite lifespan, so really its not worth paying it
too much attention if you know you personally cant change
politics one iota, i think there is much more capable people
out there expressing similar opinions anyway

its hard to be happy without taking part in this planet and
saying you cannot act in events. it will make you feel
helpless

its so chaotic, so much irrationality, i dont know im a bit
misanthropic at the moment, perhaps when im a bit older i
will feel different, i probably feel like this because i
dont have any kids

think of anything that you really like there must be loads
of things probably. pick one and think how to make that
thing hard to kill. make yourself hard to kill aswell

I'm probably going to foster some dogs. Vet bills are paid
for, and I can keep it any time I choose.

Many or some of us have a motivation or desore to control
the outcome of things. I think this is borne of
a.civilisation that often both fears and rewards the
individual and/or the ego. I think this desire to control
outcomes also stems from a shit ton of luggage that
basically equates to self loathing. We don't love ourselves
enough and are unwilling to let go of old habits/ideas.

Reaching great heights, having a purpose....it's a bit of a
delusion. You either are it or you aren't, and if you can't
make yourself in the image of your ideals, why not just try
to be happy and don't carry the weight of the world or
regret on your shoulders?

The simplest answer to life is to experiemce it isnt it?

the brain is a finely tuned organ but ergot powered
firefly-based universes help us understand ourselves so much
better, so much time but just enough space to move some
people's emotions in their own chosen direction. love to all
and be well, I'm due some acid ourselves (cos, like,
collective consciousness yo)

Agree 100% on love and ideals. But one man in a world of
billions doesn't need to beat himself up for not being
everything he thinks he should have been. That's not
living, nor is it romantic. The best things in life are
random. So if you know you can love and you have loving
ideals why fight to control what is already there? Just be
free and time will work its magic

It's not about seeing mankind as a disconnected, diseased
single self but about the little scrubadub grubby parts of
personality that interconnect and make a beautiful whole.
Creativity and creation make us what we are and you are so
right about not fighting what we are, it's all perception.
Randomness is ace

i see what you mean. randomness, in my experience, is part
of a romanticized way of seeing things that along with
ideals, is likely to destroy once they crash with reality of
things, which sometime is distant from what we used to
believe. control, in this sense, is a way to balance those
expectations in the wake of delusions. said that, i too like
the way sometimes things just happen in a succession to make
randomness appear as a predefined sequence. but that doesn't
make me want to appear to others as someone that is not me.
