Another issue is, when you attack muslims. They have no choice but to go further and further into islam and the Quraan, because thats all they really have which gives them solace. But they will naturally focus on the violent aspects of it. Back before this conflict began, muslims were even more liberal than the americans. There was no extremism or sharia law. I don't see why that has to go hand-in-hand with political dominance of the region. If they really want to be a Jew/Muslim, can't they just settle for that? Why do they have to do that AND strive for total political/military hegemony over the whole region? |
