I'd say Jane Jensen's Gabriel Knight games (mostly talkin' 1
and 3) or Planescape: Torment have the best plotlines of
anything I've played. Oh and Deus Ex. Hard to pick.

The plot by anti-obesity authorities to turn videogames into
exercise by taking the control out of finger movement and
making it full body via some stupid motion sensing crap that
automatically guarantees gameplay to be 10x worse. This was
only done because they realized that fit kids will make more
efficient mcdonalds employees for the few years necessary
until machines can totally replace them.

Have you played Marathon w M w I know you like Doom.
Marathon is awesome.
You can play Marathon for free on PC and everything these days.
I recommend starting with Marathon 2.

Also, Hopkins FBI.

Marathon 2 theme was badass. I still have it on my computer
from back in the day.

You mean Hopkins FBI, right? Cos I don't know how anyone
could hate Marathon so much, it's truly amazing (esp. 2 and
3). Like a more organically flowing Dark Forces + neat
deconstruction of the FPS genre and such.
The first one is more Doomy, but still really cool.

I never played marathon 2 but briefly looked at a youtube
now. I'm too habitual to get hardcore with more games than
the ones I already play probably, and want to make my own
games more than play other peoples.
