i'm afraid it's not that cut and dry, there are motivations behind trying to find out the truth other than personal gratification, or inflating one's own ego. Sometimes people, like myself, feel secure when they try to have a handle on the surroundings they live in. You can argue the philosophy all day, but the truth is that people are doing shit to secure their own status for today and in the future, and this causes fervour and investigation because some people don't like to just watch their world come crumbling down and have no idea why it's happening. It's funny while people are doing this shit behind closed doors not in front of your eyes, it can be dismissed as conspiracy, but years later when it's too late to do anything about it people make books, movies, and establish their precious views that they can't let go of about the same shit they didn't want to investigate. |

I have a solution to the israel-palestine conflict. it is so easy... i dont know why someone hasnt thought of it before! we just.. keep the conflict brewing indefinitely, so the US can have a reason to use it to store nukes and to threaten iraq etc and just use it as a big US army base to control the region. If things start to get peaceful, we just buld some more settlements or squeeze the palestinians a bit or whatever! problem solved |
