I know he hasn't released one for 8 years, but to me it
seems like 15 years three months and five days. The first
day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five
days. And the third day seemed like a week again and the
fourth day seemed like eight days. And the fifth day i slept
all day and that seemed just like a day, and then on the
sixth day, in the evening, when i listened to Drukqs 3
times, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening
it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and
that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the
sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of
five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half.
I could go on but i have it written down, so I can scan it
and show it to you tomorrow.

I definately count the Analord catalogue and the Tuss
project as conceptual album incarnations.

dunno. it would be at least weird. i mean analord seemed
like a statement to me: he wen't old school like when he
started to all analogue stuff and made this epic 10 disc
thing.

it would be at least weird now suddenly crapming some stuff
together again. drills again?

also - i'm sure the tuss is him or at least him
collaborating. but he didn't use the name afx or aphex twin
because of what i said above - he considered himself
finished.

imo, rdj delibarately ended his drukqs-ish drill'n'bass
career with smojphace. run the place red fades into static
-- i.e. the end of the drill'n'bass road. he's moved on. at
least that's what i think.

son who hates Glasgow almost as much as his father.

Finnish BoxBob-K23!

How do you find the book? I've read that Laing, while
de-masking official medical mistreatment of humans, proved
uncapable of avoiding torments in his own family.

high five biatch !

advocate: you forgot about mangle eleven which is an ace
track.

i'm not a sadist to music. i just hate rdj for what he's
doing. he's laughing his ass off creating weird drama and is
probably wanking to this topic right now (hi richard NOT ON
THE KEYBOARD). smojphace was a slap in the face of every rdj
fan - i can remember how many people preordered it and how
they where pissed afterwards. the whole tuss thing is just
ridiculous. and his dj-playing. wtf? i'm still considering
the infamous pukkelpop set (2002) as one of the best mixes
ever (with the freat unreleased ceephax track) and now what?
a laptop and drumnbass remixes of system of a down (jeez)
and current value stuff.

surely he will release under the Aphex twin name because
that name is known world wide, where as the analord series
and Tuss are not so well known.

He will release under the name J.K. I don't find the Myspace
site or any other information regarding that guise. Boom
Blaster acid however compells me on Myspace.

plus : "he's laughing his ass off creating weird drama"

i think it's more like internet messageBOREDs creating any
anticipation drama than the "poor" old rdj who, i think,
would just like us to let him be and make music/live his
life in peace

fuck weird fanboy internet expectations, i say

i found the book in a used book store, had to pick it up.
Yea, his son is bitching about his dad but also has lots of
respect for him. I've read The Divided Self and a few other
books by him so I feel some kinship... also there's a fine
documentary out there called "Did you used to be R.D.Laing?"

BoxBob-K23 from brotherland Finland!

All by RDL is great. He was indeed himself a divided self. I
also recommend all books by fellow David Cooper, the founder
of the term anti-psychiatry and the brain behind the
experimental psychosis treatment in "scandalous" Villa 21.

Hopefully, AFX' new one will be self dividing aswell.
