It was my pleasure! As I said, I'm grateful to know people
with whom I can share the Bo's music. That reminds me, I had
been meaning to ask, have you heard any of the Bo's other
albums? I was thinking of picking up Attic Thoughts,
Magician's Hat, or perhaps this one, which
appears to be rather uncommon, and since reviews for Bo's
music are seemingly nonexistent, I was curious whether or
not you had heard any of them.

My friend's dad had Attic Thoughts, as I recall it was
unmistakably Bo... but I couldn't really offer much more
information than that. Sorry, hopeless, really.

Courtesy of marco/mohamed, we have for our hungry ears that
rare Hansson Karlsson 1967 debut, Monument. I haven't had
the chance to listen to it yet but I figured I'd post it
here while I've got a minute. Cheers, Mo, for finding the
Bo!

Another beat rather than the beat stealing.

I have a good friend named Beaumont (Bo for short) Hamilton
Baker, which has no connection to anything.

hi, would you be so kind as to post the track list for that
ambient mix you made? There were several good tracks that I
didn't recognize, and, rather than asking you about each one
individually, this seemed to be the fastest way to bring me
up to speed. Thanks. I've had that mix in my playlist all
week and it seems I find something new to appreciate with
each listen. Thanks again!

Awesome, I was certain that was Phillip Glass, good to know
my ears haven't deceived me. I'll be investing in some of
these albums as soon as I'm able. I love that track Sundial
by The Advisory Circle, also I had been recommended some Art
of Noise but didn't get around to hearing it until your mix,
so thanks for that.

P.S. - More Bo coming soon!

Those Advisory Circle tracks are all great, as are the LFO
tracks. I need to get my hands on some proper albums, lest I
forever remain ignorant. :) Thanks again.

Oh, good work, instant good memories I forgot I had,,...
Attic Thoughts indeed, I remember the cover... vaguely.

I'm glad you like The Advisory Circle, I think he's a good
compliment to... The Bo, a bit of crossover, if you will.

Just out of interest, this David Stubbs review of Other Channels,
by The Advisory Circle, I thought, was rather good.

That review was wonderful, and caused me to want the album
that much more. That website seems to belong to a label
(Ghost Box?) but as far as I can tell, they don't have a
store section?

Ah! I just found it. You'd think that, having discovered
this in the midst of typing the above, I would just delete
it and start over. I have chosen to keep this post
chronological, so that you, the viewer, will better
understand my journey.

haha. Is my computer screwing up the image tag from another
song, or did you attach a pic of He Man to this mix? :)

I really wish I had attached a picture of He-Man, sadly
no... I can't explain that away, not easily, nor at all. How
very odd.

hi mo! Did you get a chance to listen to Attic Thoughts yet?
What did you think of it? I ask because it's my favorite
Hansson album yet. I've whipped up a nice little playlist
that includes the advisory circle, the bo, that early AE
live set that just surfaced, and a couple other random
artists. It's a nice medley of different sounds and
influences for when I'm feeling diverse. :)

that's a nice way to take care of your musical need, i was
used to make tapes of my favourite tracks sorted by mood
when i was a kid but i've lost that habit in the digital
domain, but most of all i've lost all my natty tapes.

oh yes i've listened to the Attic Thoughts and of course,
they made me think to the old toys he was probably resuming
with while revisiting that attic ;-) he must have had a lot
of different games to play with cos the work sound quite
eclectic, and all the best features of his sound seem to be
finely combined into this record. the distinctive Bo moments
of big calm abruptly changing into fast rumbas and yet back
to the little soldiers march, all ina toy mood, is all so
much fun.

i'm giving a further spin to Music Inspired by the Lord of
the Rings, already sure that it still was my fav Bo record,
still, Attic Thoughts seems to be less visionary but more
childish and therefore it's definately catching my favour =)
but it's too early to say. what is not early to say is Thank
you for this beautiful music and friendship exchange, traits
of a true music lover, incredibly rare to find today.
