I bet no one could tell if it was real or fakes. Aphex fakes
are impossible basically. Autechre fakes are much more
doable.

are you kidding me? aphex HIMSELF releases so much random
nonsense where you think "no, this can't be him, this can't
be for real!" ... No, it would be fairly easy to use one of
his zillion monikers to release some random shit. He does it
himself, for god's sake. I mean, what's with Smojphace? Or
The Tuss? What's with all the random remixes and bootleg
tracks attributed to him?

But if you mean faking his "patented" analogue synth +
insane drumming sounds, that's more difficult, I agree,
mainly because of the unique gear he has. Not that many
haven't tried. Many people have based their entire careers
on imitating him, if not strictly speaking "faking" him.

Thats strange, I know immediately if something is aphex or
not. How could anyone be fooled? He has such a signature
sound and its not just wacky beats and analogue synths.
