excellence chasing awesomness. quality=quantity - which is
so rare in the world these days. lushness track after track.
unbelievable. Rich, you = da man.

Hangable Auto Bulb, one of my fave early RDJ music :-)

I'm glad he released all this for free but was quite happy
for us to pay for tracks like "My Teapot" and "ktpa1"

Richard D James; a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you.

I am having a great time working through this treasure trove
of good musics.

Hi Gwely, do you know what Sc stands for on the AFX
SoundCloud downloads page?

SC=SoundCloud ? tracks selected for upload to that crappy
site ? maybe ?

Mr. James is busy getting his kids ready to win his grammy
via skype while he continues to sort tracks.

offline yoyoyoyoyo from Sweden on 2015-02-08 18:24 [#02483990]

I think his kids was only made up in a interview he did.
That's what I read in the syrobonkers interview, so who know
what's true or not I wouldent trust him :)
Also read there that he lied about being married but only
have girlfriend.

I'm not sure I can trust him, either ;]

What if user48736353001 is actually his sons uploading some
tracks they made ? That's why he doesn't upload them to his
"Aphex Twin" SC account - tho he DOES follow user48736353001
?

Or those tracks are actually by his 2 daughters, not sons ?

Also, Mulder, where are you ?

all gone

user18081971 has deleted all tracks from profile. not long
after posting a link to a video about alien spiders and
black goo. yes, them german accents do come across as
strangely authoritative.

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2015-11-25 11:33 [#02490134]

I watched most of that video was entertaining i have to say

German Nicholas Lyndhurst lookalike
magic tomatoes
piezoelectric chin crystals
quantum embroidery
transdimensional bum spiders

When all the tracks disappeared my heart sank i have to
say, its literally been the best thing thats happened i can
remember

indeed. maybe the whole thing was becoming a bit too much of
a distraction. anyway, better he spend his time making new
tracks ... or maybe it just clears up more time to delve
into the mysteries of black goo !

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2015-11-25 12:50 [#02490138]

I was quite surprised by how many genuinely interesting
questions and replies there were, was a great interaction, i
know im going to think of dozens of questions now i wish i
asked before, i hope he comes back and does it again
sometime in the future, i suppose at least now i can stop
refreshing
sound cloud every 2 minutes and go to bed at a reasonable
time

i'm sure the black goo was a major subplot in the xfiles

its great to see what wasnt "selected"

the selection gave him a power to make albums that seemed
surreal or something. the look behind the curtain connects
the dots and shows he is a human

^ I reckon he is keeping back the stuff he considers the
best for a physical release, he did mention there were more
calx tracks and stuff, but yeah its great to see more of the
picture

Dang. I think I didn't even snag some of them. Thanks for
posting that archive.

This dump was just wonderful, I was transported straight
back 20 years, it's still really eerie putting some of these
on; feel like an old friend just stopped by to visit and
hang out, it's just as wonderful as always.

i post track titles to remember the ones i like, sometimes i
post them in the middle of the track then it suddenly
developes in a way i don't like so.. will have to relisten
and see. i don't think i will listen to the entire dump
again in the near future though.
