too many autechre fan boys who also threw snares out of the
competition

lets see where they are when time to fight aphex comes (if
it ever happens)

it has nothing to do with liking autechre or not.

out of those four I think Gescom is the most interesting.

gescom are o.k. but they're pretty boring in a lot of
releases (to me)

not more than the squarepusher albums for me

Hard Normal Daddy and Go Plastic are probably the two most
listened to albums by me

I really really like Ovuca too, and that's why I voted for
him. Lactavent is a top 5 album for me. Still I thought it
would be a sqp runaway.

I guess that's the power of pomme.

loving autechre has nothing to do with loving gescom? what
were your thoughts when listening to the liverecording of
coachella - what was it? 2001? 2002? and you heard those
tracks you didnt know yet, or more precise, the tracks which
a couple of years later appeared on iss:ra, or whatever it
is officially called. were your thoughts kinda like: "huh,
what's this? this doesnt sound like autechre! gescom
perhaps, but certainly not autechre!". well, let you tell
you this, that was not what you were thinking, was it? those
tracks just sounded like the other autechre tracks.
autechre, gescom...what's the difference? the supposedly
help from others?
hah! yeah right, there were other people in the room while
autechre were twiddling the knobs, and that's the difference
between ae tracks and gescom tracks. or, no, let me be more
precise; that's the difference between the GOOD gescom
tracks and autechre.

aaargh. ok im drunk and this was crap, but that shouldnt
keep you from voting squarepusher

oh nice use of logic.

if autechre play any track at a live-gig of theirs I'm bound
to think it's autechre, because, well.. it's autechre.

but gescom certainly does not sound the same as autechre.
there may be similarities, but there are even more
differences.

as I said before, I think gescom is more interesting than
any of the other three in the group. that is my reason for
not choosing squarepusher. and this is based on what I have
heard of both, not on what I have heard of autechre.

next time try to use a less condescending tone, even if you
are drunk.

in a way, this can be seen as a bad result... if you regard
ae and gescom as a seamless entity... but in another way,
it's very encouraging, because it means that squarepusher
(who would be just as typical a candidate to send) does not
make it... besides, until soundman spills the beans about
his experiences with B&B, pommepusher is more deserved of
punishment :P
