on a side note. i had my first martini this weekend.

thought it was overrated. basically, it's siping on a shot
of really cold, slightly wattered down gin/vodka.

yeah, absinthe was made illegal in the western world around
about the 1950's as far as i know, i found a site ages ago
detailing it.

true absinthe is impossible to get hold of, the only thing
that tastes anywhere near like absinthe is Pernod aparently

makes me laugh when there's these 15 year old 'goths' who
keep saying, "Yeah i've got some absinthe at home!"
