Working on a painting of myself. I've been using oil paints for the past few weeks for the first time. Difficult to not make mistakes, so I work slower now. I'll scan the full sized once it's finshed. |

I used a photo reference though, divided it off into a grid, then sketched in the grid on larger canvas. I used liquid paper type stuff, don't know the fancy name for it, smells fucking awful though, and went over the pencil, then I painted over that as a guide, whatever was left of the goop came of with a kneaded eraser. The only reason I shrink it here is because I'm embarrased of the rough edges and bad parts, shrinking it helped to hide those. |
