well, maybe something personal..maybe a nice article you might have read..maybe something related to new york's 80's avantgarde artists. as far as i know arthur had quiet a few friends among them..anything basically :)

man, i don't have any time at all these days..i feel terrible..and now i've got this to finish...i could just translate the wire article and hope no one notices it :)
i really feel bad about it as i should take much more time for this sort of things..i get to write about all these brilliant artists and i do it in a hurry and surely forget about lots of interesting facts and such..i always say this but still always ebd up doing it the last possible minute..

came up with the title already! it says-> ARTHUR RUSSELL
i've been doing a bit of reading and it seems i missing the larger part of his work (i'd say about 95%), which sucks a bit. i'll have to pull it off with what i have i guess.

someone from xlt/slsk .nu room recommended this guy to me a couple of weeks ago, then i found "world of echo" on my hdd, so i must've downloaded it right after the recommendation. finally a few days ago i found some time to listen to the album - and now i'm discovering album after album, it's a whole sound world of different ideas. amazing. great artist, too bad he's gone.
thanks, someone

I love Arthur Russell! He has been keeping me warm during the winter months. World of Echo is amazing and his disco stuff with Loose Joints is brilliant as well.

Yeah, world of Echo is top dollar.
Check out this disco tune he produced. Bit af a Loft classic apparently. Certainly floats my boat.

thanks again. after listening to the light and kind of country music style "love is overtaking me" i needed to go back (after a long while) to the simple awesomness of "world of echo" - the fuzzed and echoed cello in the background is killing. i could do with an instrumental version of the album.
certainly a must-buy in near future
