I apologize for my generalization - I tend to do that at times. I realize that Americans ARE different. I do find sometimes however that even the most intelligent Americans can be caught in the maelstrom of government propaganda (its found everywhere from history class and geography class to television and radio). Most people I have encountered from around the world despise what America represents, though it is in fact a major reflection on the government and its foreign policies and capitalism, and not the individual citizens that comprise the country.
