The "pictures of the hottest ass" thread caused the board to run slowly the number of guests online at times suggested people had started linking to it on other boards etc. and the large volumes of data being sent was killing the bandwidth and slowing the server. This hasn't gotten that bad yet, but I want to nip it in the bud... So, leave the thread as it is, no more pics, or I'll close the thread and if neccessary, delete it. Okay? |

No more naked pics/pics of people in a state of undress: 2 reasons 1) It's a music board, the odd pic is tolerable, whole threads of soft porn aren't. 2) Sadly any hint of a significant stash of free porn spreads like wildfire, people tell their AIM buddies/post a link on other boards. Server traffic doubles or more and the board grinds to a halt. A sort of unintentional denial of service attack. |
