well, here are my options,...
1. don't look at the pic until everyone is gone, or 2. make a big scene, inform everyone you are about to browse pics of kiddies, trying to explain that it is of a perosn on ome messageboard, which will cause more probs BOSS:"what u doin on a mess board at work?"...and so on
hard decision to make really isnt it?

ich spreche ein bisschen deustch, aber nur "schule-deutsch."
holzpferd ist ein lustig wort. holzpferd, fleugzeug und der satz "Volker kann nicht tanzen."
(as you can see, my grammatical abilities aren't all that good. I will probably understand everything you say in german, but I don't think I will be able to reply in correct german)

i feel the same living here, i understand it all, but i tend to save myself using the same phrases...or common words which in english would be like "yer, like whow man, dude..." that kinda talk, so i am doing a good job at looking dumb right now

I have the same problem, as I am alternating between using this mb, talking to my friends on MSN and using another norwegian mb. many strange sentences has come from this.

yea, its not hard to pick up the german here, but its tough to stick with it, everywhere i go, english terms being used, even in german speech...plus the internet is based on english, theres no way around it.....not that i mind, its an advantage

yeah, knowing english is good, especially as it seems not many germans speak it normally, or am i mistaken?
knowing several languages are always a + on your side when trying to get a job, though.

sounds like the japanese. if you read the back of dvd-covers of japanese films (imported, and put into english covers, of course), the "original title" slot almost always holds a misspelled version of the english name for the film. It seems like the japanese have named the film in english, and when asked about the title, they pronounce it wrong, and the person who is writing the cover just thinks it is the japanese word for it.
Battle Royale : Baaturo Royaru Ring 0 - Birthday : Ringu 0 Baatsuday
are the ones I can remember right away.

yeah! I think all japanese are really baby-englishmen. when an english person gives birth, the baby is immediately shipped to japan, where it lives for 86 years (which is the average time it REALLY takes for an english baby to get ready), and then, it is shipped back to england, and grows up as an englishman. when you hear japanese, all the words are really just mispronounced english words.
