The VU weren't too popular though! I agree though, The
Beatles were the best AND the most popular band around,
that'll never happen again, and it usually doesn't happen in
ANY art form. The days of bands as good as the Stones and
Beatles hitting number 1 on the charts are gone... unless it
IS The Beatles, they hit number one not too long ago.

I remember when Kid A went to number 1, that was
impressive... but a real anomaly.

looking at your last few posts, are you the self-designated
defender of the "everyman" on xltronic? do you really think
it's necessary to put down intelligence and unique taste?

yes but AE don't scream "people equal shit" for five minutes
over simplistic but FAST guitar riffs.

there's a difference between a glitch song that takes weeks
to write and an angst-anthem that can be cranked out in the
amount of time it takes to listen to it.
