Oh right, I know what those books are. I think unless you go
through something dramatic I don't think your personality
will change drastically, you may improve in some aspects
depending on the situation or person.

What do you mean when you say "success"?

Did you go out more? Did you engage in a few interesting
conversations? Maybe found love or sex?

True, there are also short women who will only go out with
tall guys, quite a few women have weird complexes about
something and there's no saying how that'll go and if you
want to deal with that. There's a reason people write so
many books on women, it's a rich subject.

Its more about learning a new behaviour. However i don't
know if i want to be the protagonist in a cartoon world,
created by social retards from the internet

I have found love (am engaged now :D) but it wasn't through
pickup. It was through doing self-knowledge/therapy and
reading properly researched psychology books; not the pseudo
psychology that is spouted by the average pickup "guru".

I think that once you accept yourself, you'll likely not
even want to talk to the average woman.

But what did you do in your 2 pua years?

Maybe you are, you're still a character even down to your
username.

For example, I "gamed" a lot of different women when I was
working at a hotel. I was actually pretty good at it. When
things got close to intimacy though I just folded because of
all my insecurities that I hadn't resolved.

I definitely got a high out of appearing "cool" but really
it was no substitute for a relationship in which I could
actually be myself.

You know that sounds good to me. It would be huge
improvement to even get to that point.
Why couldn't you be yourself when things got

close to intimacy?

Because I didn't trust them! I thought my my "cool guy"
persona would keep me protected but I just wasn't ready for
that kind of thing. Of course sex doesn't always have to be
about love or whatever, but I had some serious intimacy
issues that I hadn't dealt with at all.

To be intimate with a woman who I didn't trust was fucking
triggering, so I just didn't want to go there.

I have to say though, the flirting was pretty fun.

modification

Hello Crazone, since you work in a mental hospital, do you
think that PU Stuff does have any mental health risks? Maybe
like that positive thinking stuff etc?

I dunno what to think about it. It seems like cognitive
behavioural theraphy and Nlp for teenagers mixed with
reactionary political ideology.

dunno I've never read it..but mental health risk is a big
word I guess for reading some stuff on how to pick up a
girl.

insult them whilst they have a drink in their hand eg -
'when you fell from heaven sweetheart, did you land on your
face?'

make sure you open your mouth wide, chances are you'll get
that drink thrown in there when its aimed for your face. not
very nice if the drink is non alchoholic (eg, bovril or a
cup-o-soup).

Dude, why do you think folks get crazy about stories of a
guy who wrote on a donkey to the moon or the son of god.
And you think getting ill over a human being of the other
sex is not possible....?
