That's exactly how I feel, everybody has their individual merits and it doesn't matter what colour they are or if they have an inny or an outy between their legs. I've lived in "one of the most local authorities outside of London," my entire life and it gives you a good scope on Britain. |

This isn't a "compare how ethnically diverse your town is" gameshow, I was merely referencing my views on race to my upbringing in my town with statistics. |

That being said, there's still some racism in this town from almost every ethnic group. Disgusting really when you take into account that if you picked two people at random "there would be a chance that they would be from different ethnic backgrounds." |

Lol- I wasn't really treating it like a gameshow, just saying it is good to see more diversity here. Sounds draconian of me to say this, but the first time I have ever had a black friend was when I moved here. It's a Caucasian haven in Shrewsbury where I from originally (on the border of Wales)... Went to Coventry once and that is very diverse. Still a bit of a crap hole, though IMHO. Too urban for me- pretty horrible. |
