I never said i thought it was an alien in a ship, I have a
few theories but one of the most interesting is that it was
a probe or monitoring device. It could of been surveying our
system here for what ever benign reason.

It's not hard to believe in civilizations which harness a
colossal amount of technological strength and that they
might want to probe around to have a nosey

let me explain further, info taken from Dr Michio Kaku

There are 3 types of civilizations, a ' type 1' can harness
the power of their planetary system, like volcanos, the
ocean ect, they can control their weather system, in summery
they have complete control over anything planetary.

'Type 2' they have exhausted there planetary energy sources
and now get energy directly from their sun

'Type 3' They can harness the power of billions of stars in
an entire galaxy

unfortunately we are a type 0 planet, which means we get our
energy from dead plants, oil and coal we are extremely
primitive in comparison, so when we see an orange glowing
object fly passed we get scared and hide behind curtains...

In a way if someone told me it was a probe sent to survey
our planetary properties, it shouldn't even be that
surprising...

We live in a phenomenal world and outside of our little
microcosmic realities there is shit going on

thanks for reading

regards

larn

"a probe sent to survey our planet wouldn't be that
surprising"

lol, some people live in a fuckin dreamworld. there is no
doubt a very ordinary explanation to waht you saw, so
ordinary that the thousands of people who no doubt saw it
couldn't even be arsed to phone the Sun newspaper.

do you really understand the distances involved between
planets or the likelihood of intelligent life - as we know
it - existing simultaneously, or within distances that would
even be remotely plausible to travel/visit no matter how
sophisticated.

you watch too many movies my friend.

The Philadelphia Experiment has been debunked for decades,
c'mon now.

Here's a good link with credible events.

being open minded.

Yes, there isn't even any evidence that the expected life of
a intelligent civilization can live long enough to develop
advanced technology to explore other galaxies and planets
until their home planet resources run out, life may not be
rare in the Universe but that doesn't mean that interstellar
traveling is possible, there are too many factors to
consider like a gamma ray burst, how could we even prevent
that?

want to go to Northampton?

You'd have to be a type -1 civilisation for that.

haha hahaha
but seriously...alien must b considered because we cannot be
the only life, but why they only float around making pretty
shapes is not easy for us to understand. maybe they are not
so clever and are learning from us then zap onward to a new
beyond with teachings of our world. like maybe they do not
have designer sofas, health care, and gun clubs.

There was an old lady called Wright

She departed one day
in a relative way
and returned on the previous night.

lovely read you all
btw i have no problems imagining highly advanced space
travel beyond our science. and them probing other planets
just like we do. the only hassle is the same as with time
travel:
if its possible, wheres the tourists from the future?
i mean even if we might be laughable to other species,
why dont they establish a comedy channel on us?

governments alone to keep the aliens in( alternative)
reality shows for years.

i used to wonder why we haven't had any space travellers
visit us yet.
Some scientists reckon that in order to travel through time,
you need two machines, one to send you back (or forward) and
one as a reception. So that would mean that until the
machines are created, we can't travel back.

I thought I would update you on my findings, I have been
doing some heavy research into the object i saw, I may have
found a scientific explanation:

Ball lightning caused by oxidation of nanoparticle
networks from normal lightning strikes on soil

Observations of ball lightning have been reported for
centuries, but the origin of this phenomenon remains an
enigma. The 'average' ball lightning appears as a sphere
with a diameter of 300 mm, a lifetime of about 10 s, and a
luminosity similar to a 100-W lamp. It floats freely in the
air, and ends either in an explosion, or by simply fading
from view. It almost invariably occurs during stormy
weather. Several energy sources have been proposed to
explain the light, but none of these models has succeeded in
explaining all of the observed characteristics. Here we
report a model that potentially accounts for all of those
properties, and which has some experimental support.
[continued]

case closed!

there was a similar phenomenon in the dutch skies on 13/10,
horrid translation here

english shit (this is the best link)

i'm pretty sure this is what you guys saw, the origin of
ball lightning is still not clear, and from descriptions
i've heard it moves slower than what you described. ball
lightning moves nearer to the ground, homing in on
conducting metals or other objects.

recently, quite a coincidence so close together in time and
geographical location on earth.
