Yeah, ouch man... that's a rough scene down there. I hope no one you know lost anything in the blaze. Up here it's October buisness as usual. Been nice and chilly, a little bit of rain today. No crazy fires sweeping through the hills of Silicon Valley. |

Where I was there was no evacuation..and luckily no one I knew directly was impacted or had to evacuate. Just crazy having an ORANGE and RED sky for a week and the smell of smoke everywhere....ashes falling on your car and your head. Getting better though. |

I live in northern La Jolla; there were evacuations very near me, and some things were closed, however, beyond a bunch of ash and poor visibility / crappy air, life was fine. |
