what do you say? yay or nay?

im a little surprised there's been so little reaction to the
music itself..

a little yay-ish. kind of nay-ish.

a1 i like, though gets a little repetetive.
a2 is nothing special for me.
b1 is eh.
c1 has a nice sound.
c2 eh.
d1 eh.

I only like c1 and c2... the two that don't sound like
cheesy old ass acid shit.

I'm so tired of the acid sound, *DIE* already acid sound.

That presupposes that what Sean does sounds like what
Richard does, which isn't the case.

Because as far as I understand Gescom consists of different
members for each release.. Am I wrong? Did Booth and Brown
write this one? Some of the tracks? Are these questions a
stupid?

Not that it matters that much, I'm just curious...

And what if I'm in that "Do you want to be a millionaire?"
show and it's the 'million' question and it goes like "Who
wrote the 'gescom a1-d1' 12" released on Skam in 2007?

1. Sean Booth 2. Rob Brown 3. Moby 3. Sean Booth & Rob
Brown.

What then, then?!?

in that case it would present a problem indeed. i hope you
would get a chance to call a friend for consultation and you
would call moby and ask him if it's him.

and i don't know adam ant but i take he's a bboy.

The Tuss isn't Aphex. The lables are switched on the LFO/AFX
splt 12". The new Gescom doesn't sound like Autechre... voy

A1 - I like the repetetiveness of it. It's Booth and Brown
kneeling by the grave of Acid. I believe Moby did this
track. Respect!

after several listens, I thisnk this is some of gescoms more
diferent releases to the rest of their output

I like it a lot

but still think a2 sonds nothing like autechre

I suppose autechre have not given all gescom releases the
same amount of ideas, contributing almost completely in some
of them and not so much in others, may be that in this one
they shared crreation with more people or simply took less
part in it

or maybe as someone pointed out I have no fucking clue

this is 100% gescom

going from yay to nay even within a track. couple of sexy
good tracks (D1 of course) and a couple of not so sexy
tracks (C2, B1) with good moments. all in all: good ep with
lots of interesting things happening. most interesting
being to try to recognize the tracks they sampled.

It's ok, probably a grower, but I just got on to C1, this is
worth the £6 alone and I'm pretty sure that's Autechre.
