tedtalks are so awesome/inspirational. I eventually stumbled
on this one:

which features that same 'evolved' robot.

(I originally read about it in a pdf linked through some
other tedtalk about self assembly, also fascinating)

Oops, I somehow linked to the completely wrong thing. That's

I actually didnt watch that particular tedtalk that you
posted, because the chick's voice was just too annoying and

Yeah, that was the wrong link. Here are more artificial
creatures... I was like dayum, which is an emphasized
