Good lord, this stuff is incredible. I picked up a half pound wedge from the grocery store, and never looked back. It's the double cream variety, imported from the one and only France. (I've heard Germany makes a nice brie as well.) This stuff is great with raspberries or melted over croissants, or just about any other way you might conceive of eating it. Lets all show some love for the French way of curdling milk. :)

i liked it, but maybe it was not very close to original taste. what I ate, can be seen on this picture. also on these pictures. Maybe tried brie (and camembert and some others) under one more brand. Good thing. but bowadays i don't want it anymore.
You told This stuff is great with raspberries? OMG.

i hate it when you have a slab of brie laying around for too long and turns into something more sharp, similar taste to camembert. Yuck, i hate it.

Do you like Brie, mr griffin? Sorry, I didn't mean to be stereotypical with the brie + croissants thing... It just tastes good to me. :)
Matvey: is there something about raspberries you do not like? or were you displaying your admiration of the tiny tart joys?

Hehe, well it helps if the raspberries have been cooked slow in an oven to soften them up. I usually just do a basic brie pastry wrap recipe, where you put raspberries or raspberry jam on top of the cheese, wrap it all with croissant dough, and bake until the cheese is good and melty. Yum. :)

I like most brie. I like it with apricot jam too, but some brie tastes too much like mushrooms to me, which I don't like. Wasabi is good with brie too

Hmm.. I think that could possibly be german brie you're referring to, as according to wiki, german brie often has mushrooms in it. I don't think I would enjoy that, either.
