Have you ever listened to a song and just felt like
everything made sense... that everything was ok, and you
understood everything and all that... it just seemed to
bring everything together... well, I just had that
experience, and I seem to have it all the time when I listen
to this song... A Different Drum by Peter Gabriel from, you
guessed it, Passion... anyways, I'd love to read your
responses...

That happened to me once while listening to "shadow" by
Bailter Space. This song also seems to slow down time, the 4
minute song seems like 1 or 2.

hmm..its probably happened to me many times...
i remember one time listening to hasty boom alert by
µ-ziq...it nearly brought tears of joy to my eyes...that
songs like musical ecsatsy..
i also remember a few months ago listening to vespertine...i
had just moved so i had no tv/internet access...so i just
sat in my room reading while it snowed outside...listening
to vespertine...it was very comforting and nice...funny
because bjork says thats what she hoped the album would do..

First time I heard Roygbiv by Boards of Canada, I felt
weird... that was a good one. And also Rhubarb made me stop
and pay attention, and left me wanting MORE!

a lot of squarepusher's stuff tends to have this affect as
well...
my sound, beep street, sp theme, iambic 5 poetry, theme from
earnest borgnine, goodnight jade, sarcacid, etc...

aphex's arched maid also, among other tracks im sure you are
aware of...

I agree on Rhubarb. It was so peaceful when i first heard
it. All I could think about was being in a happy place.

oh dear...im nearly an old daddy as well...
to think...i just reached 400 over the weekend...i wonder if
the rate at which i post has any relation to the state of my
social life...in that case..its declining fast!
having said that...watch out, nacmat...im coming

I hate it when people make a big deal that their social life
is dead because they have 500 posts... jesus, I have almost
2000. How do you think I feel? I'm so lonely and sex
deprived! Stop rubbing it in! Sniff!

Don't worry Ophecks, you'll always have two very loyal
friends/sexual partners: The computer and a bottle of
vascalin!

im not trying to rub it in...my social life isnt dead...it
hasnt even been born yet...
my rising post rate is actually the result of getting a
computer in my room...rather than having to share it with
other people...and wait for them to get off/get off for
them...

vordhosbn, wood floors, and a fantastic creature made of
reflected light...

Yeah, my PC is truly a PERSONAL computer. Nobody in the
house touches it except me. Having a computer in your room
is nice. Easier to masturbate without being caught.

Peter Gabriel eh? I liked the Pop Will Eat Itself cover of
Games Without Frontiers quite a bit.

Um... let's see... the end on Ziggomatic 17 makes me want to
cry.

Gabriel is AMAZING......music touches me like that at
different times. sometimes you have to be in the right frame
of mind for a piece to hit you just right. i can listen to a
song once and think.....oh thats great....nice......then if
properly motivated i can hear it again and it MOOOVES me
=0)

passion is a great CD.....popped it in to listen =)
