I've only really played Final Fantasy VIII - I thought Squall was the best character then Zell, Siefer was a good villain.... I'm looking forward to Final Fantasy X coming to the UK |

I'm more of a PC RPG, based on AD&D rules, like baluder's gate (sp?) and icewind dale. But i'd say FFVIII is the classiest of the lot. |

my favorite is FF1 baby on the 8bit nintendo. its really the only one i played thoroughly. i got kinda sick of all the cut scenes and shit in the other ones... i'm a true product of the mtv generation with the 2 minute attention span. favorite character was the black mage. |

If you didn't like the cutscenes and have a low attention span, never play Metal Gear Solid 2, then! You watch it more than you actually PLAY it... I just got Devil May Cry for PS2 today, anyone like that game? Fucking AWESOME gothic atmosphere, lots of action... kick ass game. |

yep i agree with you ophecks, and that whole "here we go again!" ending in MGS2, i mean, they were dea like 100 years ago?! WTF!!! I did like it though...a great renter...not so good as a purchase! |

FF7 was fucking kick ass, large game! my FFX is pretty cool too I think. I enjoyed ChronoChross and ChronoTrigger a lot, still have ChronoTrigger on my ps1, the remake version. Those are great ass games, I loved so many parts of FF7. ChronoTrigger is very memorable for me too because I played that all the way through with my best friend when it came out, all in one long ass day/night session. Memorable indeed! |

i agree ophecks, i am the only person i know that didn't like mgs2 and i gave it many chances to please me. i think counter strike ruined slow paced games for me. except for like starcraft and hopefully warcraft III oh and i cant wait for GTA3 when it hits pc |

Getting Chrono Trigger was the happiest day of my life. :-) I still have the original SNES cart, with all my best saves still on it. I LOVED Metal Gear Solid 2, BTW... I thought it was incredible... when you were playing it. The cutscenes got annoying and brought it down a bit, but I still think the game itself was incredible. Get the soundtrack to Chrono Cross, it's awesome! The Chrono series is superior to Final Fantasy, anyway. |

My cousins came down with all kinds of FF games last week. I watched FF6, a game I haven't played in years... it was the Opera House part, with Ultros the Octopus, that was fucking great! They don't make games like that anymore. And I also saw FF10 for the first time... disapointing. The main character is so pathetic, that ALONE ruined it for me. The graphics were disapointing, the music was average, the characters all looked boring... it just didn't stand up to FF4-8. I was let down... FF11 doesn't look much better. Online game? Puke! The characters suck, too. Oh well. But Chrono Break will blow Final Fantasy out of the water, as always! |
