i was at the big chill in england a few weeks ago and there was this jazz band playing some cool jazzy things...at the end they started playing an aphex twin track, (...a well known one, but i always forget track names.) EVERYONE WENT MENTAL!!!! and applauded like it was rd james on stage....haha, i thought they were all jazz fanatics ....but what a surprise to see a large amount of them standing up and actually moving to the front ! anyway it was awesome ..worth going just for that. its great to here acoustic versions of electronic tunes peace:) freqy |

mental! was it recorded? i'd love to hear it. Have you heard of that orchestra that playes afx stuff.."Alarm Will Sound - perfoms aphex twin" - you'd totaly love it. They do an entire album, with various songs from "4" to "blue calx". |

hahaha yeah that's them!! well found! thanks so much! i remember drooling for some aphex all day long! twas rather special when they played in the big field and the hot sunshine. yeh ive 'alarm will sound ' i totally love it....real deep with some glorious tones and feels. although i wish they'd give the multi track to RDJ so he could tighten it up a bit in places. peace:) freqz |
