I pop in & out during the day (and often + nite at
weekends...)...

Quite often leave myself logged in all day as it's just
another window...

It's a cool cool board when you have a hispeed
connection....work is sorted (as you FLEX etc downloaders
know), I'm ona pukka JANET line (about an inch from the main
Inet backbone)...

but home...56K:( (but great connection all the time) with
an upgrade to Broadband on the way..(If I can convince the
powers tha be...)...

So it's porbably at least 20hrs if not twice that, even If
I've inactive a lot...such is the joy of a academic tech job
with lots of free(ish), I mean research, time...

I started of at, like 3 hours a night, reading posts and
sometimes replying.

Then it got to 5 and i'd just post a load of old crap all
over the place without thinking about what i was saying.

But now, thanks to an 8 week run of counceling sessions, i'm
down to 1.5 hours a day, and try to post only when i feel it
appropriate...

probly only 15 hours a week, not that i don't like aphex
twin, and not that i have some sort of social life- i just
need to spend the other 100 or so hours of free time on my
own damn music.

My lack of any real social life gives me the ability to be
here quite a lot. :-)

Plus, this is the only place I can converse with fans of
this type of music, I don't know ANYONE who's into it!!!
Other than online, I have no ties to anyone that knows who
Aphex is. It's ridiculous.

im in the same boat as ophecks..
this site is HIGHLY addictive!
sadly.. the most stimulating communication w/ people for me
usually comes from the internet, as i know very few people
who i share similar interests with or who have interesting
ideas/opinions etc

i prob spend like a few hours a day here on average..
but that time i will also be at other websites aswell as
talking on ICQ, so there!

I spend about a half an hour from school here (during my c++
class) and about an hour at home, and at least an hour on
sat. and sun. so I would say...

9.5 rounded off to 10hours a week

"Nacmat" is actually a very clever AI program on a server
that monitors this site and posts 24 hours a day. :)
