Why are people paid to play sports? Why is that even
accepted? Who gives a damn if somebody scored some "points"
by throwing/kicking a ball into a goal? Oh, wonderful, a
ball went into a net, isn't that great for the country!
Isn't it wonderful how SKILLED that man is, he is really
SKILLED, he can bounce a ball and throw it in a net for his
team, oh I support *that* team, I don't know why, I just
support them, they're GREAT. What team do you support? That
one? Oh, fuck off, you're a shit, I hate that team, that
team made up of a bunch of cocks I've never met who have
nothing to do with me who can't read can't write can't do
ANYshittingThing useful for the world but shit about with
some spherical object and show their machoism by showering
after a hot sweaty game with a bunch of other ape-men.

I like watching sports.

I don't like playing (competitive) sports.

I enjoy individual physical pursuits.

I do not have a television

OMG u girl sports ftw. There's, like, no downside to
following sports. I especially love to nurture illogical
rivalries with fans of opposing teams. I don't know why. I'm
sure it's an important and healthy dynamic though.

If people pay to watch, people get paid to play.
