my old housemate's sister was doing that too - sounds like
she had great fun over there.

or you could try finding somewhere that requires people to
taste food. there's a strawberry site not far from here, but
all their posts are taken at the moment.

i've seriously considered that in the last year. i think it
might be a fun-overload for me, though.

You don't need to speak Japanese at all! I'll ask her what
you need... She now lives back in England with a Japanese
boyfriend who is homesick as hell! Haha

You need one of those micro japanese sprites that are all
over the place! They love western lovers.

'food technician' is the correct term i think, but test
bunny will do.

they have some mad strawberries over there, one example
being vanilla flavour.

Didn't you just say that your life quality increased after
you quit your job, and that you still don't regret it? If
you can live off that radio-thing then why not continue? If
you want suggestions about interesting jobs, then at least
give some hints about what you're interested in.
You can always write an angry mail to Phobs where you tell
him you want your share of the donations :)

Other interests that music of course. But if you're a good
music journalist, and are willing to put some effort in it,
maybe you can start working freelance and sell articles to
papers, magazines, etc?

not sure if i was talking about life quality, but my mood
certanly went a 100% up. im not looking for work or
anything, but im sure there are interesting jobs so who
knows, maybe there's something i'd actually enjoy
doing..freelance journalism is definitelly something i
wouldn't mind doing, but the thing is im pretty much only
interested in writing about music and as it happens, pretty
much the only medium here that covers the sort of thing im
in is the station i work at. and if i wanted to do it for
foreign mags/websites etc i'd have to learn a language
first..

When one can make a living out of being a computer Football
Manager, I will! Just started a Mallorca-game, and I got
them qualified for the UEFA Cup in my first season!

Haha. No, just wondered. Nothing to do with your life-style.
Ironically I'm currently working at an employment office:)
Find your way to happiness, but I guess you can get some
problems if you later want to apply for jobs, and the only
thing on your résumé the last decade is XLT modding :)

indeed. that is why im not looking for a standard/normal
job, but something interesting instead : )
i know i should probably consider my future a bit, but im
thinking it won't be a problem, and i suppose time will tell
whether i was right in thinking so or not.
