my eyes are burning...

I went to DEMF for the weekend and drove back to make it to
work today. We don't have the same long weekend holiday as
the americans... and my team is mostly american, so I can't
call in sick.

my eyes are burning... i haven't had sleep in over 24
hours... and even at that I only had 4 hours sleep sunday
morning from 5 till 9am.

I met tons of amazing ppl in Detroit.... but right now I
would really like to pass out. I'm not hungry... just
tired. But I can't leave work.

Anyone else have to go through the party --> go straight to
work thing?

Besides coffee and Redbull,... how the hell to I stay awake
for another 6 hours till my shift is finished?

you might be joking, but as I'm constantly looking for an
alternative to caffeine and energy drinks, I'll ask: Does
drinking fresh fruit juice give a boost of energy?

you could inflict physical pain on yourself, or just tape
your eyes open.

I should rephrase that... Does it give you a boost of energy
more than just the intake of natural sugars in the fruits
themselves? Is there some hidden element of dietary
chemistry that I'm missing when you turn a fruit into juice
form? Haha, this question is starting to sound ridiculous.
:D

power nap.

take a 15 min break (or however long yours are), lay back,
close your eyes, but DON'T fall asleep. it can be a little
hard, but if you pull it off youll be a very significant
amount of refreshed.
