too dark for some.

Damn it! I forgot to bring out my memory stick again. This
is something i will have to rectify over the next couple of
days.

Regarding the track: Head Like A Wasteland (the only one
I've downloaded so far... 56k woes)

Oook. Well as for the actual ambient aspect of it (the
music)... I wouldn't go as far as calling it dark. It's a
sorrowful melody, timeless. I can dig it.

However regarding the vocal aspect... Assuming this is your
voice reciting this poetry, I have to say that it really
just lacks the pleasent dreamlike tone you need to pull off
this sort of monologe. It sort of sounds like you could be
some 25 year old dude decked out in FuBu gear with a
sideways hat reading this outloud...it's just not working
for me.

So for the poem itself, disregarding the vocal tone, it also
seemed too fast paced for the hauntingly sad, slow melody
behind it. It was just dominating the ambience.

Keep up the ambient aspect, you definatly had me at the
beginning. I would listen to a little more Coil if you want
to contiune the Poetry Over Ambience thing. They got that
down to a science... but Balance also has a voice for that
sort of thing.
