one of kubrick's greatest.. if not the greatest. personal
favourite would be 2001.

Love it, weird triumph of audio and visual art design. Just
hope when/if it gets a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray release that they
do something about the aspect ratio.

I don't get the high ratings other than as masturbation
material if you don't mind lots of fastforwarding.

There is this creepy interpretation of "Clockwork Orange" by
Andy Warhol. His b&w movie is called "Vinyl" and was shot in
1965, I think. Lots of BDSM in it... Very dark and saxually
violent.

Yes. I have it on dvd. It is very creepy, because looks like
a documentary from a S/M secret party. Looks real.

i think musics as gantz graf or omjia switch 7 would fit
very well in an ipotetic clockwork orange 2000 version.

its a good book, if you can manage the way it is written.
all the way through nadsat (old russian slang) is mixed in
with english (even in none spoken parts) - and the meanings
to the words are not explained. Most of it you can get
through inference though, so its not too difficult. or the
internet if you want to be sure.

i think burgess, the author, wasnt happy with the film. in
the book the violence is hidden in language, but in the film
its plain to see. and the ending is slightly different.
gives the film a little bit of a mixed moral message.

anyhow, its worth a read. good book. good film. good
soundtrack.

this is actually the only case i can think of where the
movie is better than the book. excluding anything involving
stephen king.

back. its an old print too, the one with the cool image on
the front..

very nice!

seems to be a popular character among stencil/sticker
artists. I've seen similar stuff in various places.

This one is far better though.

its strange how iconic the character has become. somehow i
don't think that's what burgess intended though. especially
since the book stemmed from his wife being assaulted.

easily Stanley Kubrick's most dated movie. When i watch it
it's hard for me to take seriously because of how 60s/70s
era it seems.

i just saw Paths of Glory and Spartacus for the first time,
dont know why i waited so long. both of those films are far
superior to clockwork orange.
