I have a feeling that it might just fall apart by their
third effort, a la Strokes. But I really hope I'm wrong.

antics was pretty bad, so i doubt it. turn on the bright
lights is such a good album though, so i hope they can at
least conjure up their older talent.

Dear Diary,

Woke up this morning. Remembered I'm in the band Interpol.
It was with no little satisfaction that I recalled we're the
bast rock'n'roll band alive today. Sure we have our
influences, but we outstrip them and burn a whole new path
for rock music, wannnggg into the 21st Century. God, this is
great. I think, whilst there's a lot of things wrong with
the world today, one of the right things in the world
is the prospect of our third album. I think we've got
a good 10 more albums in us, and I think out audience will
grow and mature with us for years to come. God, if only all
those old bands could've seen that one day Interpol would
come into being. Would they have bothered doing what they
did? I doubt it.

After breakfast I had a wank.

I haven't really been listening to them much, but their
first album is pretty great. Antics has some nice songs, but
definitely not as good.
