Meet Your Master

So, I was listening through the new Nine Inch Nails album
earlier today, and as I progressed through those 16 fairly
predictable tracks, I reached the 11th track, titled Meet
Your Master
, and there was just something about it that
struck me in a rather odd way - it seemed so familiar! At
first, I thought, is this a cover of some sort, but the
words seemed all off, but the tune of the verses seemed
painfully familiar. I knew that I'd heard something exactly
like them before, but I could not for the life of me place
the source. On and off all day, I've been scanning my mp3
library, looking for anything that could sound familiar in
any possible way, but once I reached the end, I was still
empty-handed. Where could this be from? It wasn't until a
few moments ago when I was scanning the deep recesses of my
brain - that dark sticky part where things go to die but
never somehow fully disappear - that it finally came to me,
and, O, is it so much more odd than I had previously
imagined.

Meet Your Master from the new Nine Inch Nails album
Year Zero has striking similarities to that Livin'
La Vida Loca"
song by Ricky Martin.

For your reference:

Ha ha ha, nice work. Possibly subconsciously memetically
imitated.

Here's a meet your master link since that one didn't work:
