that the most important people in your life could have been
the worst thing to ever happen to you?

Do you mean that your closest friends, the ones who
influence you the most could in fact be ruining your life?
Yes, all the time, I wouldn't want it any other way.

little extrreme.

tough to say.

I wouldn't really even consider some people who have been
sources the 'most painful' experience in my life to have
been the worst things to happen to me, because I learned a
lot from those experiences. ya know?

[emo] have you ever realised that self-harming is actually
quite fun? and also that it gets you sympathy and attention
from girls which means they might have sex with you?

Then what is the worst thing that has happened to you? You
learn something from everything so it isn't so bad?

Yeah, I dunno..

I don't like when I've been mean to other people and haven't
had the courage or the opportunity yet to apologize.

did you realize if you take any emo song, and replace all
the lyrics, while keeping the same durations and pitches,
with the word waaaaaaah, they instantly become super funny
and enjoyable. as opposed to when the little whiny trust
fund kids sing them?

I think brian adams said it best....

"life is a highway... i wanna ride it, all nite long"

and if that wasn't brian adams who sang it... whoever sang
it. they were right on about something... something as true
as this thread.

it wasn't bryan adams, it was some irish dude (i think) with
no upper lip.

That is passing the responsability now isnt it?

"Its there fault" "Theyre ruining my life" "They got me into
this shit thats messing up every opporitunity I had"

that's a good point, but not exactly what i meant.

it's more like they tend to be the catalysts, and i fuck
everything up myself. im sure if they werent around i'd
still be fucking things up.

Unfortunately what your asking begs of higher question like
how much does nature/nurture influence who you are, and in
turn, how much choice do we have over who we ultimately
are.

On a simpler level, I don't think it's wrong to cut off a
person from your life because you believe they're not good
for you.

you just need to get a focus on things.

and frequently ask yourself " what will come of this? "
"what can I gain? what could I lose? "
