Which one are you, donksonology?'

"shit, that was awsome"

"unbelievably well done rendition, needs to be recorded
properly asap!"

or

"That blew my mind, and I don't even care for covers! :D"

Its a nice live version. I like the main lead. Its a pretty
bad recording though. Id like to hear more. At least there
isn't some Thom Yorke cunt waxing poetic over the music.

i was so prepared to be the average xlt'er and slag this off
but... i can't.

damn good work there, great attention to detail.

i especially liked the, 'hey michael!' bit. :D

i don't see why this is a cover though? they played it just
like it's in original..except for the synth line wich they
make sound more chinese or something..i stopped listening
2/3rds in because nothing happened..

is there some definitive rule to how much a song must
deviate from the original to be called a cover? look at
sheryl crow covering 'the first cut is the deepest'. it's
not drastically different but it's still a cover.

i'll copy my post from SA:

I think the drums are pretty pointlessly overplayed, they
kinda destroy the whole groove/feel of the tune for me.

no rule but what's the point of doing something that's been
done before?

yeah, a little innovation could be nice. i think it's a nice
little jam by some dudes of a song they like.

I actually find that it's a quite fun process, teaching
myself new songs on the piano, if it's songs I like. Of
course it's even better playing around with it, changing
styles, etc, once I've learnt it, but you shouldn't devalue
the fun in playing music you like yourself.

oh, im sure it's fun, but people here are saying it's a nice
cover wich i don't agree with : )

yeah i think it's pretty shit. I think a studio recording of
it might win me over, but it's not tight at all.

Well that was much better than I was expecting. I like the
rough around the edges live feel for stuff like this. I
would love to see this played live in a pub or something,
would be ace.

i couldn't even recognize wtf they were playing. there was
a small handful of bits and pieces every now and again where
i kinda got the idea it was 4 other than that the quality
was shit which i can normally pass off. to take a quote
from staz the drums are overplayed. the only thing i can
give them any credit for is attempting it.
