does anyone ever even look at critics' reviews on this
website to decide whether you want to see a movie? pretty
much every time i've checked out a movie there (most of the
time after I've seen it), the consensus for critics has been
the opposite of what I thought. if I think it's a great
movie, critics hate it. I think the movie sucked, critics
love it. I mostly liked it, critics mostly hated it.

those that saw the movie (user reviews), which i would
assume was mostly the "target audience," are usually more in
line with what I and others I know think. is it just me, or
do movie critics seem to be out of touch with the people who
are supposed to read their reviews of these movies? maybe
they're a bunch of pompous jerkoffs who think that groucho
marx was the peak of cinema? i don't know... but it kind of
makes me wonder when those who review movies almost always
disagree with those who would see the movie.

I've never been there, if you don't find the reviews helpful
I'd say don't go there, but that'd be maaaaaad.

Maybe give some examples of films you found "good" and that
they found "bad" and we can all go "Oh, right, yeah".

are you one of those people who thought a sequel to I Know
What You Did Last Summer was a good idea? that might be the
problem?

i work with someone who said eurotrip was good and from that
day fourth he was stripped of his right to have an opinion.
now we chase him round the building trying to lick his
little baldy head. true story.
