Ok, so obviously everything started with Deathprod's "Imaginary Songs From Tristan Da Cunha" CD, which I love. Accidently I wisited the website of this small community of 272 people of Tristan Da Cunha volcano island and I started to think of going there. You should read about it, all these pictures and people there are like from Kubrick's "The Shining". hmmm...

the poor bloke died only recently.
the resolution in google earth is pretty crap, btw. and that's quite an understatement. there's much more to see at st. helena. another hell-hole further north.
