Like me. Sorry. I just REALLY get over Trent these days.
I mean don't get me wrong Aktium (pleased ta meet you btw),
Trent has composed about a SHITLOAD of great songs, but he's
what, 40 now? I dunno. I know that there is NOTHING wrong
with jammin when you're old, but seeing him prance and whine
on the stage all buff, sweaty, and old just creeps me out,
and fills me with sickness. But I'll bet I get year 0
though...

I think it's cool that he still performs, but what I do
think is silly is him knocking over tables and throwing
guitars. He's a bit too old for that, I think.

I refer specifically to the end of "Terrible Lie" in Beside
You In Time...does he really have to knock over all those
bottles of water? Someone probably went to a lot of work to
put them there...

i saw him when he came to toronto both times..... awesome
man. Great show. I wasnt a fan of his album either,... but
this new stuff he's leaking on the net is really
interesting.

I've spent alot of time on Last.fm nerding around looking
for details on it.... i find it fascinating how he's
changing his promotional game to match the times....

it's hard to take his whining as value considering he
might/must be out of touch..... but hey.... if I can relate
to his songs he could be as old as dirt.... it'll still mean
something to me.

that last album just felt too "david bowie" commercial for
me to get into.

I went to see Willie Nelson in concert and I was all like
"ewww, gross", it was like watching The Mummy perform,
hello, do you want to sit down, shouldn't it be time for
your nap now, does nurse know you've escaped from the
elderly home again ROFLOL!?!?!?! I felt physically sick and
had to look at some foetuses just to get my perspective
right, I mean, hasn't he even heard Drukqs, dhurrr, people
don't want the elderly playing guitars and singing things,
we want young kids with laptops set to stun boochakaka
chahahakakaka. I wasn't born when Come to Daddy came out but
I imagine no one at the time understood it like I do now.
