I know it's not really important, but I've always been quite curious as to how many cds artists like Venetian Snares or Richard Devine or Autechre or whoever sell.
Didn't Mike Paradinas share some information about this in an interview? Can't find it, though...

Some sales figures have been listed before. I seem to remember that big albums like Geogaddi sold in the tens of thousands range, whereas most "normal" electronic/idm related albums tend to sell in the thousands (at best).

I think that was the album that established Rephlex's now legendary practice of delaying releases for years at a time for no apparent reason beyond they can't quite be bothered, though perversly if it's a really shit record it seems to come out dead quick.

Global Goon told us that he sold 7000 copies of vatican Nitez. And I read an interview that Come To Daddy sold 700,000. And in the press-note for Geogaddi it was informed that Music has the right to children sold over 100.000. That's all I know

They managed to shift all the copies then?
BTW I know it's taking forever, but I was working on that thing for you again last night. I hate to make it sound like some master-crafted wonderful thing, because it's not, but I am taking a fair bit of time over it.
In other news, can I strongly recommend Roland Sands' bikes as being of interest to you. He basically makes sportsbikes out of cruisers, with olde worlde styling, a bit like a vintage buell equivalent (but with gorgeous paint). I also think you would really like the cover bike on this month's Back Street Heroes (BSH) It's an updated Vincent and looks a bit like your missus' push bike. It's possibly the nicest (from a purely aesthetic POV) bike I've seen.
