they seem to be awesome, and i don't know why people use it either. Bet they just use it to record several things, and use it to sync their gear. Never tried it out |

Me and my cousin made a track on one once, and he uses it quite frequently for playing live, etc.. it was fun.. we recorded to the tape, put it in another tape player, and recorded it back onto another tape with a microphone and the volume cranked up way too loud.. the tape distortion+mic sound is an awesome effect! |

Lucky you, swears; the nearest I ever got was by borrowing my friend's little sister's karaoke machine, which had two tape decks and some kind of microphone. I used to spend hours recording overdubs of it with a crappy little keyboard which another friend lent to me. |
