The English versions of these adverts with Mitchell and Webb have a much better irony in them. The two act as their Peep Show characters and is meant to show that one is really geeky and boring (the PC) and the other is cool and hip (the Mac). Although fans of the show would probably reach the conclusion that PCs are rather over-zealous but ultimately caring and warm, whereas Macs are inconsequential cunts. |
