Ive seen more than a few tidbits on tv on people that are poor in the winter boiling water and running their oven with the door open in order to heat their apartments. Now how the fuck could that be effective. That is really sad. |

i like staying warm. around here in the summer i can go around in jeans and a hoodie, and of course chicago has a nice beach, nothing like lagunas iam sure though. |

ever lived anywhere outside of illinois? how bout vegas? you ever been there? anyway, hot or cold one extreme to the other are both annoying, but, and this is a big but, but at least when it's cold you can put on more clothes. thermals, sweats, jeans, flannels, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, coats, boots, gloves, beanie. when it's hot you can take off all your clothes... you're still hot, try splashing water on yourself... water's hot. |

chicago gets alot of snow usually, and i can remember when i was realy little and me and my friends from the neighborhood would have snowball fights and build igloos :^) good times. |
