It's great and I'm not just saying that because you were
civil, it's about 8 great acid tracks in one, a bargain. If
I was hiding in your bedroom cupboard, as is likely, when
you were making this, I'd have had to have leapt out, naked,
and started dancing, such is the power of... the acid. And
the beat.

The bit starting at 3:50 is a great pop song.

On my Winamp it went straight into Man 2 Man meets Man
Parish "Male Stripper" and it worked well as a mix.

Nice stuff, really enjoyable. Not much more I can say really
except, um, nice one.

i love acid. i dont think its possible to be original with
it. but fuck it, its just, well, acid, innit.

Originality is often overrated.

It had some nice moments, but I think it would have been
better if your separate loops had more coherence as a unity,
and the melodies been more eerie and atmospheric. Also, it's
all so treble-based -- throw in some low bass!

I think he means that, within the programme, you had good
'monitors', as in, audio monitors (speakers/headphones), so
you could make it sound good before converting to your audio
format of choice.

Listening to this has inspired me to dust off the old
ReBirth and give it a tinkle; long before I used fruityloops
or had t'internet, my old flatmate and me used to spend most
of our time making techno (his was amazing). Think I'm gonna
emulate some SAWII spookiness within a bassline generator
context :D

rebirth is a blessing and a curse. its fiddly. the recording
feature is abysmal, it doesnt sound very authentic, but if
you make a half decent track you walk round with a smug grin
for the rest of the day.

good luck sir!

this is really nice i_x. i agree with whoever said it needed
some deeperness though. also when you say 'live' what do you
mean. what aspects are you controlling in reason and in what
way? how much is preconstructed? sorry im being nosey cos
ive never tried to do anything live in reason before. still,
great track, especially the last couple of minutes.

i assume you use reason then?

made the loops for the beats and the synth myself. then
triggered using my midi controller. assigned all the filters
and delay and distortion to encoders n tings. no need to use
the sequencer at all. it is a pain you cant record audio
with reason because to record that i had to run cool edit
and having both open is a strain on my pc.

yeh i use reason occasionally. i tend to rewire it in to
fruityloops as i dont really see it as anything more than a
big bank of sounds. its useful if i want some violin samples
for example but i never use it to do a whole track from
scratch. thanks for the info!
