a friend once told me that they're open sores that result from the body pushing the impurities of meth out of the system through the skin.. not sure if that's the case here, but it seems plausible. |

well yeah, it is acne to a degree. whenever we feel a zit comin' on, naturally we may have the urge to want to pick at it, but in our sober minds, we know better otherwise we would have scars and such. just imagine that same fact in a person with no self control under the affect of a stimulant that magnifies the intensity to act on every impulse. |

What happens is the particles from the drugs get caught in the capiliaries and they burst, making it look like a nasty case of acne. It gets worse when they start to pick at it. is a documentary done by some cops in vancouver. There are times when it gets a bit too 'copy', but the people they are talking to are very real, and it shows a really harsh reality that people don't normally see. |

i watched that documentary and i noticed none of those rejects ever mentioned marijuana as a precursor to their habbits. it was always beer alcohol pills coke then heroin. now that i mention it they never said anything about acid/lsd or mushrooms either... it's like danny tanner says, marijuana's not an addiction. i sucked dick for coke, you ever sucked dick for marijuana? |

Yes. I think that is an outdated opinion that pot leads to anything but laziness. I think most hard drug users skip marijuana and go straight to something like cocaine at parties, then cocaine at the bar, then cocaine in their spare time, then they start smoking cocaine, and the rest is history. I can't stand pot anymore, but I probably wouldn't be the same person if I hadn't have spent a few years smoking over an ounce a week. If people were properly educated about all drugs instead of told that they all lead to crack addiction then we would probably have a lot less addicts out there. |

Pretty bad, but as Fah says, they're hardly pinup material to start with. Oddly, woman looks more confident and as if she has more self respect in the "after" picture. Similarly, this gentleman's messy hair and beard could have been the work of a stylist; they nicely hide his shaped head.
