I designed something. It's really simlar to crap you see on
"Threadless" or something. Just curious as to what some good
shirt-printing companies are and costs if anyone here had
done it before.

large run or for self/friends/fam?

i'm sure there are people here with some advice on companies
that do large runs, but for small amounts look into home
silkscreening. it's fun and pretty easy to do!
some directions

also stenciling w/ ink works relatively well, i've made a
few in such a manner.

made this with silkscreen a couple years ago, came
out quite nice, sharp lines and such. look into screening
though, definitely a good way to go.

there are a lot of materials you need to get setup but once
you get it down, it's pretty simple. it takes some time, but
you can get great results.

otherwise you could get them iron on transfers from any
office supply store, but they don't look so great after a
while.

but i'm going on about home printing, if you inted to make a
bunch of these and sell them, definitely look more into
finding a printer that would do much of this work for you.

The iron on would give it a worn, vintage look after a
whlie, right?

yeah they get pretty wrinkled and cracked, but in a wierd
plastic-paper way, not crumbly like the vintage you're
thinking. then again, if you don't wash it, or just don't
wash it often, it can last much longer!

I've had things printed on tshirts a few times at this local
printing place. They steam it on with a steamer and then it
sticks. Some shirts make it over time and start to fade a
little, or a lot as was the case when the rdj face
completely disappeared..If they do a bad job the prints
starts pealing off and you assist the process by doing some
pealing until the print becomes real abstract. If you have
all the right stuff you can do it at home with an iron.
