haha wine...you might as well just ask "do you prefer you boyfriend to shave before you kiss him (wherever)?"
Me, I don't drink nothing but purple turpentine. Doesn't get me pissed but it's fun anyway.

red mostly chillean semi-dry's or maybe from time to time some californian.
but i couldn't really eat any fish without white wine - my favourite is one called "muskat" with a light taste of muskat-nut. delicious.

red for sure. been enjoyin' a lot of the Aussie Shiraz blends of late... especially Coonawarra stuff. also found a couple of nice relatively inexpensive Spanish Shiraz-Monastrell blends. my ladyfriend digs on Argentine Malbecs, which are also quite nice. i'm definitely a total plebe at this point, but since i'm quite the wino, i'm learning pretty quickly.

I used to really like red and drink a lot of it. Sadly, my teeth are very susceptible to staining and I used to get red teeth after drinking it (which lasted for days), no matter how much I brushed them. So, at my dentists advice, I no longer drink it (aside from a couple of glasses at xmas).
Now that I drink white instead, I've grown to like it, particularly as Dannn_ says, with food (even red meats).
I do miss the getting wrecked quickly effect of red wine, but not the absolutely killing hangovers that came with it.

I can't really taste much difference between wines drunk in different sessions. I'm able to taste degrees of sweetness, sourness, dryness etc, but although I like red wine in general I've never tasted a wine that I though was particularly excellent.

it depends on the meal... i only drink wine with meals anyway (i'd rather have beer or stronger alcohols on their own).
white wines can be really different from each other, to me the "dry" ones are as different from the "sweet" ones as both are different from red wine.

if wine were two beautiful women i had to choose over because the one didn't like the other and both said i had to choose then i would probably haved picked red. mainly because i spend more time drinking a red than a white. the time it takes to consume it, i mean. white wine goes down really fast and is kind of 'sharp' and more edgy, whereas red is a little rounder around the edges and the flavour lasts longer. but wine is really a whole world of beautiful women, irregardless of colour.
