i think this is a simple one but just cant fathom out how to do it
i want to record something im playing using a voice recorder software then use it for another purpose in cool edit pro
in the past i remember simply opening cool edit then pressing record then the thing i was playing on my pc soundcard was recorded with little loss of quality
i cant fathom out how to do it and its getting on my tits
any advice?

you know that windows audio settings thingie in that thing where the clock is?
get it up, go to options or whatever, select record, and then eneable something like "wave" or "what-u-hear" or something for recording.

i think you want to turn on the 'windows mixer' in the pannel drunk was talking about.
if its not already displayed, go to advanced then select the template for recording.
