I just found out the following:

"A common misconception is that certain types of electronic
publication, such as email or postings to bulletin boards
and newsgroups are automatically public domain - this is not
true, the author retains copyright on their work. Public
domain works tend to be the exception rather than the rule,
if you are unsure you should assume that a work is
copyrighted."

This means that if you copy and paste something from another
person's post to indicate what you're replying to without
referencing it you're breaking copyright. I always thought
it was like just repeating what someone had said in a
conversation!

I've just been talking to bluecalx of joyrex (not the one
who posts here). He was very polite, not like I've been led
to believe the joyrex lot behave at all :0)

Lizard Fister's new pic (Nacmat with a green hat) is in
breach of copyright as it is a "derivative work". Nacmat,
sue him for all you're worth!

Don't worry, Nacmat's an architect. :)

I think it's quite funny as due to the pink cap epidemic
people will look closely, so it's not as if you're
pretending to be him.
