so franz ferdinand ripped off queen

i was just listenin' to some queen when i stumbled upon a
two second bit in good ol' fashioned lover boy that the
franz ferdiwankers apparently decided to nick for the verse
in their most popular song. i put the clip up on some upload
site for you all. hope it works. probably old news,
though.

that's a great song (queen)

i hope this is the franz ferdinand rip-off, since i don't
know it

oh, i should've made it clear. the clip is from the queen
song. i'd put a clip of the franz ferdinand in there as well
but i don't have it on me (even checked my pockets).

nope, didn't do me any good.

recording a clip on an external mic, classy :)

it's a really really good song though, that.. despite its
overt campness (sure what does it matter anyhow)

the harmonies are very interesting, especially in that
section and the guitar solo

haha, yeah. all of my music is on cds for some reason.

it's definitely one of my favourite queen tunes, by the way.

I agree. Gang of Fopur's "I Found That Essence Rare" is
Franz Ferdinand's career to date in 4 minutes. :p

I wish someone would repeat history and shoot Franz
Ferdinand.

Bought EMI's Gang Of Four compilation today for £3. 'Tis
good. Most probably a grower too! :D

And Akon's latest single rips off R. Kelly's 'Ignition
(Remix)' almost note for note. Outrageous.
